That is a bit of a mismatch... how's Paul Robinson been for Bolton so far this season? Any Bolton fans?
Well this game is at home , we are great playing there, Bolton have pratley playing for them, so logically we will win 3-0 if pratley doesn't play we will win 4-0 simple logic really lol
Awful, can't defend at all. The main reason we concede. He needs cover from his LM, except we play Petrov, someone who isn't known for his defensive capabilities. We sold Matty Taylor, a player who covered him very well last season and was the main reason we didn't concede so much. Dyer seems to be quite good as well, it's a worry.
Dyer was our player of the season last year, and for good reason! Lightning quick, quick feet, and he's figured out now that all he needs to do is knock the ball around someone and use his pace to beat them, similar to when Lennon kicked on for Spurs a few years ago. I can see what you mean about covering Robinson, Taylor is a good player who knows when to track back, but Martin Petrov can't be accused of the same thing. If Petrov doesn't help Robinson out, he's going to have a long, long game.
Your luck might change this game Musty, as I have us down for a 3-1 on Saturday, at my local Pub prediction competition, where the pot is at a handsome rollover! So let's hope we are both right!.............. please log in to view this image
The reason we have only have been caught offside 9 times, because we play so deep it's impossible to get to the offside line I couldn't go to the game today, nethier can I watch it on a stream on here, so I'll hopefully catch our little reports we hear on the radio in the car and hope that it doesn't say 'And Bolton are continuing their terrible form as Swansea lead 2-0' or something like that.
Hah, I was expecting a joke about the offside thing from one of our lot, not you! Your name is a little bit ironic this year eh? I'll be doing a little preview of the game, and a few updates throught the match, on www.sportstonightlive.com for anyone who's interested.
Delusion can be a great thing Anyway, just saw this on the BBC live feed. 1100: Like their Lancashire rivals Blackburn, Bolton are having a tough time of it right now. And like Rovers, they're also have to negotiate a tricky trip to a newly-promoted side. Bolton have had to face five of last season's top six in their opening nine games. That certainly doesn't mean this match will come as a relief though. Swansea's escape act at Molineux last weekend shows they've got plenty of spirit for the fight. Wait, what? Now they get the actual stats wrong
