Bielsa put us in this mess. When he was sacked we had 23 points from 27 games and had conceded 63 times. EVERY signing Leeds made, Bielsa had to sign off, or they wouldn't sign him. Hay says Orta would try and find three players for Bielsa to pick from. The only player that Orta got his way with was Llorente as Bielsa said Leeds didn't need another defender.
Never liked the way Orta has operated from day one. Too many gambles and wasted chances. We never got those players a step above did we. Honestly i think he is just all smoke and mirrors and a flashy suit and image. I would love him gone because rads need better help than he has.
Without Bielsa we would probably be on here wondering "if only we had kept Gary Monk for another season we might have gone up" whilst we battled away with Preston and Cardiff for 14th place in the Championship. But yeah....Bielsa was **** and whatever...
As opposed to BT and Amazon being mixed in? Think we've been on TV 18/34 if I've counted it correct and would have been 22 if Liverpool away hadn't been postponed. Arsenal and Chelsea still to be televised. No idea what situation is last game. Do they only show 2? If Liverpool and City are still close assuming it will be those 2 and the potential relegation matches missed completely?
Bielsa was amazing, but as we learn too often in football a Manager is only as good as his recent results. Only his good name and closeness to the club kept him at the helm for 27 matches. He would not change tactics, even though we were getting walloped all over
Yep. And they replaced him. Bielsa has put over 200 million in the coffers due to his success. The club is in a stronger position than we have been for probably 20 years...even if we go down. It's not one person's fault.
Tbf but for Pickford having a worldly chelski would have won or at minimum a point, let's be fair he made a stunning save and a couple of other very good ones the toffees rode there luck at times but defended well.....should Mina have gone for moving his head towards havertz no doubt if that had been coops or someone of ours that would have been the case, unfortunately our goal difference is a possible choker that could be the difference in staying up I can see perhaps 5 points more for us and it's a doubt if that will be enough, the thugs and fwank seem to have maybe got the slightly easier run in.... here's hoping the ****ers go belly up
Agree. Like I keep saying. We are just having a nightmare season. No luck, loads of injuries, bad recruitment, bad refs whilst those around us seem to get lucky bounces, ref decisions in their favour, wealthy take overs etc. Today was Chelsea hitting both posts, the ball bouncing out and pickford stopping the ball from the back of his net. If that's us, it hits the post, hits Meslier on the arse and bobbles in the net (that's actually happened this season btw). We've just had a bad season. If we can keep this squad together and have that luck turnaround a bit we would walk the Championship next season.
LC's model would be to ONLY sell a player on THEIR TERMS and only ONE player per window. Let's see if Leeds stick to that.
Dallas is in a bad way. Surgery was done today, or will be done tomorrow. The femoral shaft fracture x ray is not Dallas, but the injury is similar. The femur is the main bone in your upper leg. He could be out for ages and ages, depending how surgery goes. Doubt we'll see him this year. please log in to view this image
