Pretty boring first half so I’ll take that 1-0. Big improvements needed for the second if we’re to maintain our lead, starting by getting Lucas off. Romero been typically excellent, by far our best player so far.
Very hit and miss and probably lucky to be ahead.n Lucas has been awful and some average performances all over the park. However... there have been some strange non-decisions by Moss and VAR. There were 2 referrals for handball turned down, but never shown and how the **** isn’t that Schmeicle challenge on Romero not a foul and a penalty?
Not quite sure how we go in at the break in the lead. Leicester had 3 or 4 golden chances to score. The right flank has been a disaster. Lucas especially has been terrible, looking weirdly exhausted again despite the fact that he should be one of the freshest out there. It isn't working with two limited, short-on-confidence players out there as typified by the fact that Son keeps switching flanks. Sess to his credit has grown into the game, some good runs and decent crosses from him. Romero and Bentancur excellent, Kane sluggish, Son working hard but crowded out, Hojbjerg has been solid defensively but anonymous going forward.
