There used to be a lot of posts on RTG and probably still are where it was mentioned how bi polar a lot of Sunderland fans could be. Well I'm not fookin surprised
Our history with re-plays is not great. However we have beaten our Wembley jinx when we won the tinpot Cup. But first Sheffield Wednesday, who will be after revenge... at home first then away. 2 tough games against a decent side. We can do it, can't we?
How much are tickets? An SAFC statement read: “Tickets are priced at £20 for Adults and £10 for Under-16s and Over-65s – and Wearside is set to be rocking once again when Darren Moore’s side come to town
Nb check out RTG, there us a guide on there. But basically go to the ticket site click onto your account (,top right) then use passwords etc, click on seat reservation, cough up your cash and you should get an email confirmation that your season card us active for the game.
Just logged into my account and the tickets were there waiting for me Got them both me and our Michael
Great thread again @RTB ... ... it's been a real pleasure seeing your threads appear. Well done mate.
I would rather have tackled MK over 2 legs because I think they have the players to hurt us and over 2 games we can manage things much better, and that is what Alex Neil is all about. I have a feeling though our gaffer will now give us .5 goals per game, if that makes sense. I think MK are the best side but we have the best manager. We can set up each game to do a job. If we get past Sheff Wed, and I think we will, then I think MK in the final could be epic. I fancied them to go up automatically at the start of the season, they built a very balanced side. I would make the Wembley pitch massive with real wide players and try to drag them wide. Their players wont want to track wide men. Then again Alex is miles ahead of me tactically and he will do the right thing. He will watch the home game against wednesday and see how to roll them, that was a tactical masterclass. This is very much in our hands.
It's certainly reassuring to know he's going to be obsessively preparing for every game we have left. He'll construct a solid plan and there's nothing more we could hope for. We'll give it a damn good shot.
Nice to see Geads warming up second half, there were ladies asking him for selfies in the main stand ffs. Could he be our ace in the hole if Broads is crocked, or does anyone think that ship has sailed already. Could be produce three cameo performances for us...time will tell.
I said with 8 games to go inc. playoffs that if we win them all we go up. Well five down, three wins and two draws has us in the playoffs with Wednesday standing in our way to a Wembley final. Big win Friday and we could afford a narrow defeat next Monday but to keep our results form going a win and draw would do, then onto winning the last of those eight games under the Wembley arch...we can but dream. HTL
McGeady and Stewart could be the winning factor. Just let RS get into the pomo or whatever it was called and let Geads drop the ball on his head three or four times. I hope we’re practising penalties mind.
