I'd much rather be in Leeds position with a 5 point lead. Everton are surely doomed after today.

    It looks bad.

They only have 2 winnable games really and one is Brentford. So.... another 3 points for Leeds and burnely and its all but done.

I think it might be already as well.

    There also the mentality.

Burnley suddenly have the feeling they can win games, new manger bounce and all that
Leeds have the gun-ho spirit (which they've always had) that grabs them points when perhaps they shouldn't, that does however work in reverse.
Everton look bereft of ideas. They resorted to 11 men behind the ball against us and when that didn't work just tried kicking people

They imo has not only parked a bus but has set up to get one of us sent off via diving and then rushing our players. That alone means I've lost most sympathy.

I'd still prefer burnely to go down but really with dyche put out in the rain it no longer matters as much.

Everton do look like they have reached the end of the road. They need ro change mentality top to bottom but especially fans who absolutely demanded this manager despite his inability to defend and record of achieving nothing.

Who knows what the man everton had picked would have done but lampard is in imo his last job in football. If they scak him he will never get another job.

Everton fans setting fireworks off outside the hotel the Chelsea fans are sleeping in to try and prevent them from getting a night's sleep.

    Classy as ever.

Absolute must win there. That's the response to the watford result yesterday.

Now everton have watford to come in a couple games?

Leeds can now drop very easily so luv and z voted on them when it looked less likely but they have managed to slump and lose to city so I'd be delighted to see them drop.

    Burnley
Remaining games: Aston Villa (H), Tottenham (A), Aston Villa (A), Newcastle (H).

    Everton
Remaining games: Leicester City (A), Watford (H, Brentford (H), Crystal Palace (H), Arsenal (A).

    Leeds:
Remaining games: Arsenal (A), Chelsea (H), Brighton (H), Brentford (A)

So right now this seems to be down to who is actually bothered.

A lot of teams have just headed off to the beach.

Burnely have 2 home games that are winnable there.

Everton have a couple there now you'd think they can win. Palace now look very much not interested in an away battle.

Leeds look a bit scary and need a big result now.

Everton have the game in hand and must win it.

Leicester are focused on their European adventure. Their league game v everton might be shrugged off.

Everton flare incident should be given a four point penalty deduction for involvement with one of their players.

What happened to Elliott after he handled a flare? I don't recall anything beyond the FA "contacting" him.

    Everton win.

Pickford makes a save and pushes mina away so he can bang his own chest and say look at me everyone.

Lampard. I did this I did that as manager and now this. Ain't I great and then oh yeah and the fans are great (to me)

I saw a lot of me me me there.

It'll be interesting to see what they do next weekend away now.

    Their fans deserve more tbh.

Lampard has always been the over-sensitive type - remember how he took umbrage at the "Fat Frank" epithet and started going on about his BMI?

He needs to worry about his bald slot and his rapidly receding hair line as well then.
