I think we need a bit more strength and height further forward as well, when you look at the midfield and forward areas (when Eaves isn’t playing) we are a pretty small team. Sometimes this season we have been out bullied.

Because the money being talked about for KLP is simply obscene. If we get an 8 figure bid for Greaves, that's obscene too. We can comfortably replace them both and probably have an extra £15m to spend on the squad. And assuming we get 12 for KLP & 10 for Greaves to say it'll cost £7m to replace them both is really pushing it.

KLP will go for more than £12 million & Greaves won’t go for anywhere near £10 million. Only top end Championship teams will be looking at Greaves, they’ll be thinking £4 million at the very top end, probably not even that!
I think only the fans & local media are pushing Greaves as a PL player!

Weird post, right now, Greaves is comfortably ahead of KLP. He's been far more consistent and he's really developing well. There'll be plenty of PL clubs looking at him.

Whoever gets him will be paying a lot more than £4m too

    Wouldn’t say comfortable…

You really don’t seem to like KLP at all, Howden makes similar points to you but you use much more extremities when describing him.

Bristol City manager Nigel Pearson told BBC Radio Bristol:

"It's a really positive way to finish the season at home. I suppose one of the questions will be why has it not happened earlier. I always like to concentrate on what the positives are and I think today was such a comprehensive win, it's important that we enjoy it.

"For all three of the strike force to get on the scoresheet again is very, very important. Andi getting two, Chrissy getting two, Antoine one, it's just shows you where we are and the types of players that we have and to keep a clean sheet too was very important.

"I think the message for our fans to go home with is also very important too and that is that we'll do everything we can to improve on where we are at the moment."

Hull City manager Shota Arveladze told BBC Radio Humberside:

"There's too short time to find out what happened today and give you an answer. There was a little bit the impression that says the season is over or something like that; get soft, get easy. Starting with myself I gave the wrong impression last week.

"Even though we tried to prepare the same way as we've done all the time, our work analysing, but it was not enough probably and it cost us what it cost.

"Maybe my body language, my voice, I was quiet maybe on the field giving the messages. There's no point giving this performance like the season is just over before the game. Our season is not over and these boys they've never done this, shown this.

"But today was very slow, sloppy, easy everything slow, everything slow, thinking slow, actions slow, give the opponent anything they wish to play the game they do.

"I'm angry but of course I'm disappointed as well."

I think a lot of scouts will have been watching KLP and gone away with a good impression of Greaves, I questioned his passing earlier in the season especially when he was trying the long ball. Yes he as made mistakes but overall for his first season I think he as been excellent. Is he good enough for the premier ship? I would say because of his age then somebody might have a punt. It’s a big step up but age is on his side. After watching him this season though I would rather him stay with us.

Because he's someone with a ridiculous amount of raw potential that we simply don't see. For his ability for him to be the 16th highest scorer in the league is a joke. He's technically as good as anybody in this league but we just don't see it often enough. I could give him a pass if he was 18/19 and just breaking through but he's not. He's over 100 games now and played every minute this season. Yet he only seems to have 1 good game every 4/5.

Yes we're ****, we know that, and we have relied on him and he doesn't get the help and support he needs from the rest of the forwards but on the flip side, he gets every possible minute.

Maybe he needs better coaching and a kick up the arse at a PL team to unlock him but we can't seem to be able to fully.

I completely understand why PL teams want him, to many £15m is a cheap punt, but his mentality is really frustrating. He could and probably should be an absolute monster at this level.

But how’s an attacker supposed to thrive in a side who when it doesn’t have 2 holding midfielders on the pitch can lose 5-0.

You seem to know an awful lot about his mentality… He’s one of the most experienced at this level in the sqaud which is an issue for his development. No good competition, expected to be the creator and goal threat of the side. He’s played over 100 games before he’s turned 22 scored double figures in both full seasons. Don’t know what else you expect from him especially given the fact that his teammates are equally as inconsistent as he is.

Has he really improved much this season? He's at the age where his development should be at its quickest or near enough

KLP is a good Championship player and we've been very glad to have him this season given the general level of the team, but if we can get £20m for a wide attacking player who can't cross, is an average passer, and who puts at least 75% of his shots from open play and dead balls into row Z, then I think it might be an idea to take the money and run. I'd rather keep Greaves who is going to be the better player, but if get offered an

If the manager has someone better to play in his position, don't you think he'd be playing him?

    Simple Question I know...

He definitely has improved this season. He was pretty **** at the start like most. Couldn’t beat a man, snatched at most shots which he still does on occasions but who in the sqaud will be helping him. He’s the most experienced forward at this level in the club. He’s scored more than half his goals since Shota has took over. He’s directly contributed to 35% of our goals whether that be a goal or assist. The fact it could/should be more shows the level of quality around him. First full season at this level his development has been good this season for me when considering all the factors of it.
