This Utah Saints version is one of my favourites, you hacked my ultimate playlist mate?! Must be same era
Tremendous talent , unbelievable voice , as John Lennon said "before Elvis there was nothing", not quite true but not far off.
Something different saw these many many times including their Sunderland Debut in fron =t of about 20 people in the Bay
One of my Dad's favourite bands. Way before my time but they look cool as **** for that era. They went on to be 'Bad Company' didn't they?
They did after they split Rodgers into Bad Company and Kossof into Back Street Crawler, never the same as the original line up for me , same with Jethro Tull who with Free were two of the best live blues bands around of that era.
And he (me dad) sent me this............... If you're a Jethro Tull fan, you probably noticed years ago that there is a distinct resemblance between one of the prog-rock group's older songs and the Eagles' monster hit “Hotel California.” The track in question is “We Used to Know,” from Jethro Tull's 1969 album Stand Up. The Eagles stole it when they supported them on tour. This interests me because my neighbour is a massive Eagles fan.
I recently bought an old Sony walkman that came with a mix tape with that song on it, I was never into Focus even though a few of my school mates were. I thought it was a Jethrow Tull track, so cheers that's another mystery solved
Love Linkin Park. A really under-rated vocalist, his voice was superb. But I think where he really excelled was his lyrics....really were from the heart. Songs like Numb....he's pouring his heart out....bloody tragic what he went through. He cared if One More Light went out.
