it was Klopp who Marriner was talking to couldn't miss Klopps white trainers I wonder if he told him he would be top of the league by 2.30pm
Joelinton is ****e unless played in cm... Shelvey is a turd that we can't break loose and Joe is being shifted around to accommodate that lump of lead. Seriously from outside looking in.. Shelvey? Our worst player today I felt and he was captain? Don't want to go in on individual player given the opposition, but he's so bad in my eyes.
Yeh a foul to us. But we let you off and scored Instead. I posted the clip of it in here to save you these tears. Yor welcome
I thought you played well enough just not enough quality in the side to actually hurt us. Howe has done alright so far.
Stats tell me we sat back and didn’t try. Fact remains that Shelvey is a crap player and we can’t have him in if we are to progress next season. He sits in front of the back four and does nothing. Static. Might aswell had 10 men.
Oh he’s ****, but sitting between the midfield 2 and the back 4 is where he’s meant to play in that formation. I’ll accept he’s shut and a liability but I’ll defend his positioning as that’s where he was meant to play
Bit better than ‘alright’ mate. We were second bottom when he came in, not got us from 14th to 11th. Man has worked miracles with the ****e we were under Bruce.
This. If we carry on with good investment with our finances we’re only gonna get better and better gradually. Just a matter of time really.
Nah not for me he's done alright, Id be impressed if he done that with the previous squad but you made a fair few additions in Jan so for me he's done okay.
Shelvey was the biggest issue today, but we are still lumbered with a poor squad. Because we had to shoe-horn Shelvey in, Bruno was right of the three and it took him away from the play and Robertson was/is just a machine on that left. The rest is just the quality. Almiron was typically headless, as was Max, then you bring Wood on and you're instantly reminded why he isn't starting. The lack of footballing intelligence is in extreme contrast to Liverpool who constantly made the right decisions. It's a big gap. But it was only 1-0, the defence were mostly decent, Bruno still did well, Joelinton was good when back in midfield. It wasn't embarrassing, but it was very, very easy for Liverpool, very one sided. We had absolutely no chances - our xG of 0.16 is the lowest all season (even under Bruce). But take nothing away from them - they are unbelievable. Defence is so, so strong, so well organised and individually so good they just leave it as one on one which overloads the attack. City will be very similar. I hate both of them - bore you to death keeping the ball, niggle fouls, dives, but it's incredibly effective.
He isn’t. He’s a lazy bastard. Makes no tackles. Doesn’t track. Can’t do the simple stuff. He does nothing at all in most games.
Wtf?! Klopp's had an open chequebook for years, so this year he's really only doing 'alright'. We overspent by about £20m on Wood, loaned Matt Targett and had to bring a Brighton reserve CB. Trippier was only £12m and Bruno is outstanding. The previous decade or so had a net spend of more or less nothing. Howe took a dreadful team of hapless relegation favourites and got it top 10 (for now).
