Roman's apparently demanding an extra half billion. Probably needs quick cash to bribe Boris and the Tories again. :bandit:

Some ****er offered £4.25 billion yesterday, you think anyone would pay that for Spurs or Pool?

All down to the government to pick any 1 from 4 offers now, no shortage of big money wanting them.

    The Govt ?

Chelsea have been warned their future is on the line after Government ruled out sale delays amid fears Roman Abramovich is reneging on his promise to write off a £1.6billion debt.

Ministers believe time is running out on the May 31 licence deadline and are understood to be flatly refusing the prospect of more negotiations allowing Abramovich to claw back funds.

The sanctioned Russian billionaire had promised in a statement when he put the club up for sale at the start of March that he would write off the huge sums that the club still owes him.

I thought it was the Government that was selling the club and had accepted a "preferred" bidder so what/who is holding up the sale?

There's no way they'll let Chelsea fold, is there?

I know a lot of people don’t like Simon Jordan but he generally knows what he is talking about business wise
He is basically saying no way do Chelsea go under
It will all be resolved even if they don’t solve the loan issue

You may remember, I've insisted all along that Chelsea can't do what is being done, or more so the government. It appears it is now coming to fruit, I've no sympathy whatsoever, because they've tried to cheat their way around the system.
