if you can do them a favour, money, peerage, cheap houses, girls/boys of probably a 'certain age' or a blind eye turned when in their country they will do whatever thay can to help you...if you cannot help them in any way then you are simply a money maker for them and of no other use. i have sat watching all these new builds going up and am now waiting for the interest rates to also go up with many being 'reclaimed by default' when people can no longer keep the payments up.
Fair play to you. I honestly didn’t know whether I wanted to leave or remain. I thought it was important for democracy the uk felt it had power but equally didn’t want to land on the side of Johnson and Co. In fact I’d say our voices matter less since Brexit. That majority they blagged themselves too has increased deceipt disrespect and corruption. The worst ever government and worst ever prime minister and that’s from someone who despised Thatcher.
Democracy Democracy Democracy every time, with out it we are fcuked,if governments are inept get rid in 5 years max, EU faceless undemocratic power freaks
I don’t believe you should blame Brexit for things not being right, that’s the government’s problem, the same as you couldn’t blame Man City being s hit if they sacked pep and replaced him with Phil Parkinson. That’s my opinion anyway.
To early to say, economically there was always going to several years to settle down. Labour should have agreed May's deal. Bonko's deal as you would expect is useless, the money for the NHS was always a lie. Then pandemic has had an impact, now the war. It will be a while for economies to settle into growth and prosperity again. My belief is in subsidiarity, not a United States of Europe, (with its army outside of NATO ) Merkel and Macro's direction was somewhere I did not want it to be forced to happen. In 50 or 100 years time if it evolved that way fine... not now. Thatcher in my view was naive in thevl treaty she signed l. To see Germany's dependence on Russian energy illustrates for me the problems that EU leaders dreams led them to. I think it was muttered by some French/German eutophiles that Russia in some form would join the EU. Ps if Scotland and Wales want independence fine its up to them, personally I would like the NE to have a strong regional govt.
Blaming a bad Brexit deal led by a bad government supported by naive and questionable voters is different from blaming Brexit
No.... EU was going to do what it wanted to do..the problem was the vote was leave... and those that disagreed did not want to accept it.... Still don't
It's the greatest irony of all time. Leavers kept saying they didn't want to be governed by corrupt, self centered men in suits with their noses in the trough
I doubt any of the EU officials would pull the same stunts tbh ... ... or at least be more efficient at covering them up
BTW I'd assumed, like most people I expect, that the MP was watching.'normal porn' ... ... but the rumour is that it's more serious and damaging on a Gary Glitter level.
It seems the time is right for a reckoning, all MPs of what persuasion have to be held accountable for their actions or inactions. Presumably starting with the PM and Chancellor...
I disagree, I voted remain but accept the vote. I agree with your previous comment regarding May's deal.
We wish... I burst out laughing when the mp was on the bbc news at 10 last night... when asked if he was guilty of watching porn he said he would wait for the outcome of the enquiry
