Wasnt his best game in the ball, but was absolutely brilliant and stopping anything getting through to the CB’s. Must be brilliant playing behind him and alongside him in midfield.
Him and Thiago are now probably our two most important players in the middle. If we can keep them fresh and fit til the end of the season we have a great chance of further trophies. Same goes for City and KDB, games are running out fast but without him they just aren't as good as us and will fall off in the league imho
His starting position is always low, which means he gets down quickly, as invariably they try to shoot low to either side. No one really tries to chip him?
he's not that low. he is patient. the guy is a giant. So he outwaits them and makes them commit. he then slams their hopes into the ground and grinds their faces in it.
Do the title of threads have a character limit as this thread could end up quite big being called ‘Owner of the league cup, fa cup, championship league & premier league’s tweets & online media & stuff 21/22’ Especislly if it carries onto next year and we add on the community shield and super cup.
