I suppose I can understand because it's not fair that the whole stadium would be taken up by the same people every time like.
What also gives me hope is that if I cannot get a season ticket I will probably be able to get plat club tickets for individual games almost every game like I have been. Most of the time the queues for tickets on the day aren't that long and plat club tickets are usually the last to sell apart from the family enclosures etc. I managed to get a plat club seat for Arsenal despite being 3,500th in the queue... So even if you don't get a season ticket, you'll be able to get to games most weeks without hassle.
I suppose also the positive of making the queues random is that people get out of the mindset of first come first serve, and everyone simply just turns up around 10am and doesn't have any expectations so they're not disappointed.
£1055 ST for plat club . 18 x 60 = £1080. Not much difference, but it's about guaranteeing a seat and it will be harder in the future as others have said. If you can get a season ticket then go for it.
I think Liverpool and Man Utd have been more expensive than everyone else, not sure if there's any other sides in that category
Btw - people who insinuate that when you arrive is irrelevant and that it's completely random, this isn't completely true. - https://not606.com/attachments/nufccc-png.226027/ Check this link. Read it close. Arriving before the sale begins does matter, so if you arrive 10am or after, you don't get a random place, you get put to the back. You only get a random place if you arrive before the sale begins, so logging on early does matter, it just doesn't matter how early you log on.
I'm not sure where the figure of an extra 10k season tickets has come from could be more. As for the rest I think they need a certain number for match by match sales and obviously need a certain number for away fans. Other than that there is corporate seating to take into account too.
Just to give you a heads up regarding tickets once development works start on the ground, this will reduce the capacity of St.James' and those without season tickets will be shoved out for those who have season tickets
One things for sure, we're gonna need a bigger boat... I mean stadium. I think we could see up to 70k at some point. Arsenal literally sold out within a few hours and that's a monday night 8pm game.
