Holiday thread

I'm planning another trip abroad in 3 months.


Not something I usuallylook for , but I'm after somewhere I can just chill out on the sun everyday by a pool near the beach.! Somewhere not too busy, but also not dead as a door nail with most around me.

Anyone got any suggestions?

 

Cyprus would be my choice mate, absolutely love the place. Plenty places there which won't be mental busy. Depends how far you're wanting to travel really, if you're wanting something a bit more long haul then maybe far east like thailand/bali etc....probably wrong time of year for Mexico but that would still be warm.

 

Algarve

 

Marmaris, Turkey
Puerto Mogan, Gran Canaria (posh snatch)
St Julians, Malta

All three are class mate...

 

I go to Mogan twice a year now to stay on my mates yacht.
Marmaris 1-2 times (next trip is 3rd week of Sept).

Am trying Tenerife this year with the family though, and then taking my lad to Brussels for a few days.

That's on top of work trips.

 

Another vote for Marmaris in Turkey. Did a Tui thing 2 years ago where we got a week in a 5 star hotel with flights and all food and drink included for a ridiculously good price. Perfect if you just wanna go and chill at the beach, but there's also plenty of trips to sights 5o go on if you need that.

Gonna go back there in Sept, maybe even to the same hotel cos it was bangin.

 

To count as a holiday you actually have to go to work in between your "holidays".

I think it's kind of business trips for him really. His agent gets him bookings as an entertainer in venues where they've never seen mustard chinos matched with pink boots before. He usually gets the crowd going with a good laugh ready for happy hour.

 

Bali. Superb beaches, good nightlife, coolest bars and nightclubs. Plus if you want a bit of culture there is some of that too.

 

Tenerife for me

 

Oh and we're supposed to go to Thailand at some point soon too. Dunno what's there except the ladyboys.

 

Think I'll do Cyprus... Seen a 5 star place there with a deal on..

 

Mauritius. Went last year and going back this year. Stunning place with amazing people

 

Don't go to Disney World in Florida......They're still short on cast members after the Pandemic and would have you signed up as Goofy in a flash

 

Doesn't look he place to chill out either

 

Its canny if your not too bothered about the parks mate. plenty fishing, paragliding, golf, shooting ranges etc.

 

Ffs just litterally booked a holiday then been told my contract is being terminated
