I doubt the threats are for the big nuclear bombs. They have some neat and tidy little ones that can be quite localised.

It looks like they pretty much had it sewn up after a week . Zelenskyy refuses to surrender (told to keep it going as long as possible) and NATO are happy for more innocent Ukranians to die firing British Zinger missiles that bounce off tanks half the time. Not a good situation when Boris and Liz are pretending to be war heroes at our expense. First sign of any trouble and they will flee the country leaving us to live with their pathetic sabre rattling . Most of the Ukrainian fighters are stuck under the steel plant like rats in tunnels.

The bulk of Ukrainian forces are nowhere near the steel plant. In fact the soldiers in there are concerned at having so few active numbers and equipment. The missiles sent are melting tanks all over the place. One of the most dangerous places to be over there is in a Russian tank. If Ukraine surrender, one outcome for the Europe will be a massive ramping up of measures against fossil fuels, if Ukraine pushes the Russians back, then that will be put on the back burner, as just one reason to keep going. In my view, it should never have been allowed to get this far, and it certainly looks as though that it suits quite a few people that it has, but that's history now, and we are where we are. Unlike the other conflicts occurring at the moment, unfortunately doing nothing is no longer a credible option.
