Why would you want to sell players that fit perfectly and are delivering just to have to go out and look for other players who may or may not fit perfectly?
its about 50/50 but thaigo is playing all the time. For henderson to step off must play and be a choice with keita to me is quite a thing. he was 100% the right player v benfica. Keita played v burnely, norwich, west ham, brighton and everotn. Of those he played 60mins in 3. he played 73mins v city in the cup Sf and 64mins v forest he started the league cup final (80mins) and plyed all of both QF legs v benfica Henderson played v norwich, brighton, wwest ham, arsenal, watford, city, and utd. he only came on in the cup sf and Qf for keita he played 80mins in the efl cup final he came on v benfica and v inter as well and played DM in the send leg as we cruised home. henderson has shown flexibilty in playing that DM role a few times for us when resting fabinho I think its another aspect of the run we have been lucky to have with injuries. the more they rotate and perform the less injuries we get.
someone has to. after all that's how we got robertson and salah isn't it?. klopp LISTENS. we don't want a bunch of yes men at the club.
thiago and fab are nailed on starters. If we get comfortable in any game, Klopp will take them off to save their legs….otherwise he’ll pick the best other midfielder based on the opposition. I fear that our legs will eventually tire with all of these additional games so any test they get, any of them, without affecting results is welcomed - sometimes we can analyse too much.
I know these days they use data a lot more but you do often hear from ex players and even current ones though that when your winning games you don’t get tired, definitely not mentally anyway. You want to be part of that winning team at the business end of the season so I think that’s definitely helping now. Those ‘little niggles’ that might keep you out of a meaningless mid table game suddenly become something that is fine and can play through when your fighting for the title and cups.
I think Hendo's been superb recently. He's does the 'Milner job' much better than anyone else, including Milner (who is actually **** at the 'Milner job')
They are called analysts. Greg mathieson for example is one of our opposition analyst. he makes lists of opponents James French also. excellent list maker. Or Danny Spearritt is our post match and elite player anaylst. he makes lists of players ratings In short we have many many fine list people.
It's perhaps not the best use of funds, but it might be cheaper than a new signing in the meantime. Personally, I'd like to sign Milner as a coach, especially if we get Tchomeni (sp?) as he seems like a young Milner only on the other side of the career timeline. Move Milner from playing staff to coaching staff.
Kostas Tsimikas has not put a foot wrong since he joined us, we do not have to sell him except an incredible offer is received.
