Being a cheap bastard I always look in the yellow sticker fridge to get reduced smoked salmon or seabas etc . It's chock full of beyond meat crap that ends up in the landfills. “Meatless” alternatives are overly processed and contain little nutrients. They are not good for you . Plant based makes them sound like they are on a par with fresh vegetables. They are not . If you want to be healthy, eat meat from a good butcher (not a supermarket ) and fresh vegetables from a local producer . If you want to be meat free , stay away from the mass produced plant based alternatives. They’ll not do you any good .
