Dyche and Big Dunk as in Duncan Ferguson?

 

Yup. Giving it large at club and things went south after being told to turn things down by the door staff. Blues and twos and a bloody mess, not for the first time, is the rumour.

 

Duncan Disorderly has history - 3 months in jail for an onfield assault in Scotland + I seem to remember he caught a burglar in his house who ended up in hospital for a few days as a result. Scotland 's answer to Vinny Jones...
I wasn't aware that Dyche was similarly inclined?

 

I'm pretty sure he's not but when out and about one tends to defend one's mates.

Good to hear - we'll probably need him next season and this suggests he's capable of rising to a challenge.

 

Yes - along with the other players out on loan he could well play a key part of the squad as I can see a number of first teamers going (Samir back to Udinese for example?)

 

I'd rather Samir stayed to be honest. He does have three years left on his contract, but I guess that doesn't mean much these days. Him, Pollock and Sierralta could be decent centre backs in the Championship.

 

Yes - what has been up with Sierralta?

Just not been rated by the various coaches /had injuries.

 

Presumably so. I guess we don't know what goes on behind the scenes or on the training pitch - but it has puzzled me why the likes of the error-prone WTE got picked ahead of him. Apart from an unfortunate own goal, I don't think he made too many mistakes - and I can't remember him playing too badly.

 

Would you take an entertaining season but missing out on promotion next season ?

Absolutely.... but obvious implications for the club finances post parachute payments... so it could become a downward spiral

 

Yes unfortunately that is the concern and I doubt they would plan for such situations.
