late Happy St Georges Day I was in Barcelona and they were celebrating the day as St Jordi's Day. Same St but the Catalonian spelling. Really nicely done actually as their tradition is that on 23rd April men give women a rose and women give men a book (obviously it is more modern know and either sex gives either gift) Every corner there are groups selling roses (like Scout groups, community groups etc) for about £3 and there are temporary bookstalls everywhere you look. I enjoyed it
Beautiful landscapes and architecture in almost every City. Problem is full of chavs and wannabe gangsters who ruin it for everyone unless you are lucky enough to be able to afford to not have to experience the feral behaviour I feel lucky.
