Maybe Eddie is working on improving his gamein this area. If he can get better at bringing others into the game and become a better judge of when to take players on vs when to pass, then he will be really hard to defend against.
He is good at drawing players to him. If he can get his passing sorted, we really will take off. Especially if that pass is to Bruno!
There's an interview on nutv where he stated that he now realises that his game is more to attract opposition players and create space for others rather than just going past people. He just needs to learn when that space has been created and when to release the ball. I think we'll see a changed player in the years to come. I reckon if he doesn't change he'll be moved on.
He did that SO much more vs Norwich - and look at the result. He wasn't creating killer passes, but if he gets it, holds on for a bit, threatens to do something then we just switch the play we've got 2/3 players out the game. If we can improve his awareness - and I think Howe can - he could be huge for us. Also it wouldn't hurt to have other dangerous players. Liverpool are so effective because you can't just look to Salah as "their" ASM; they have Dias, Mane, Firmino, Thiago, so you have to try to create a game plan about the unit.
