I just hope we don't win to send Morecambe down tbh. I'm looking forward to a couple of days down there and, remarkably, I don't hate their club ... ... that's quite an exclusive little club
Just fell for a click bait headline. INJURY NEWS SUNDERLAND FANS WILL BE GUTTED ABOUT The story was that Rotherham have no new injury concerns!! Bastards!! obviously I’m not posting a link as it doesn’t deserve that or any more clicks
Not allowed to sell tickets though are they? Only season ticket holders allowed in. Unless the sanctions have changed and I have missed it.
Ah, that's what it is. Thanks for clearing that up. Thought it was strange them getting 39-40k each week, then the sudden drop. Knew they had sanctions levied, but didn't know to what extent.
I like Neil's point about being pleased that we came out fighting in the second half against Cambridge despite being ahead. It's very normal to see teams comfortably ahead decelerate in the second half but we kept on pushing. Credit goes to the manager for that.
Going to be a long day waiting for kick off, wanted to be there (thanks Covid, you bastard) Going to be a nervous watch on the TV, but if we start like we did against Cambridge we should have to much for them. Would love us to absolutely batter them but will settle for anything as long as its us with the 3 points at full time
Rotherham had sold almost 1300 at 5 30 pm yesterday and their ticket office is open till 2pm today. Pathetic, considering their home average is 10000, I think not.
Needs a fast start and an early goal. Win tonight and the play offs are guaranteed IMHO. Saturday is then all about finishing as high up as we can. Not bothered about home advantage 1st or 2nd, I honestly believe we can beat any team in the top 8 over 2 legs
It's not pathetic but it's not impressive when you think Gillingham brought almost 1000 from much further for a nothing match. Their last home game was 5000 so they brought around a fifth of their support. I doubt Rotherham will sell many today tbh, if you're going you'd have made arrangements by now. Anyway, it's our support that matters tonight and it'll be excellent as usual ... ... Haway Sunderland, we've had long enough down here.
