Klich and Rodrigo absolutely nowhere near any of the Palace midfield. Phillips not much better. The defenders just have no options so are forced to play dangerous balls in to midfield or go long to James who can't hold it up. That's why the defence are looking sloppy, there's just nothing happening in front of them. Palace have locked up the midfield quite well but we can't bypass the midfield because we don't have a striker. It's verging on the ridiculous. Only positive is that its 0-0. Hopefully Palace drop their performance 2nd half otherwise we won't get anything.
This is how we’ve been playing most of the season, as each injured player has returned we’ve still looked no better. We lack quality, bielsa got the best out of this bunch for three seasons, it’s hard to judge Jesse on this inherited bunch of players but Palace have a far better squad
Just about to say the same, in my mind were doing o/k with what we got, surprised by palace & particularly Zaha for their antics, gotta say though i think Jack Harrison having a good game, covering every inch of grass, worried by klich who seems well off the pace, also phillips has had a couple of poor touches and has been mostly invisible. Hoping for a better second half.
I'd still take a point. A point is a big point as it means Everton have to win 2. We are battling but we have no ideas so far. Just got to dig in and defend well and see what lady luck brings us we aren't miles behind them and one bit of magic could all be needed.
K Kalvin has been a spare part so far. Kkich a spent force but he was never prem material anyway. Get dallas in midfield

Think Klich has checked out this half of the season, perhaps thinks or knows he is on way out at the end of the season.
