From the Barnsley 606 board: "on a two months loan deal as cover for foster, i carnt see why its cover for him cause he would get in the squad over foster anyway on his game hes a top class cb/rb

great buisness from bfc and MR

    well done."

    How wrong people can be.

Is this meant to be ironic in some way, because this is exactly how people on here react EVERY time we sign a new player.

Mcshane is on more money than Chester, Hobbs, Stewart, put together, and he's only half as good as any of them. Another one of P.B's wonderful signings, though I hope he does well because he's a good lad despite being crap.

Yeah, how wrong we all were with that praise regarding the signings of Fryatt, Mclean, Chester and Stewart. They've been rubbish.

I know what you're saying TWF but recently with Nigel the signings have been nearly all good.

    Fryatt's been good.

McLean... meh, he can jump but spends too much time on the floor for me.

    Chester... solid if not spectacular.

Stewart... people seem to want to think he's better than he actually is, Devitt's a better option on the wing IMO.

I'd love to see him do really well for them, unfortunately I just can't see it happening.

I'd agree they've been "good", not great just good.

Phil Parkinson made good signings though.

Should be interesting to see how well he does if he gets some game time, doesn't really make much difference to us as he hasn't been in the squad for some time now, when we've had a full retinue.

I like Paul, and I hope he does well. He is a fantastic player when he wants to be, and an even better undercover agent. He makes you think he's playing for one team when really....
