Stewart feeds off crosses, Broadhead like the ball played to feet. Its great they compliment each other. AN just has to ensure that other players are on the pitch to supply assists and in Embo's case also score now and again.
Great thread again RTB. Thank you. I'm as nervous as Ive been for a while but do think we have enough in the tank to march on. They will offer a big physical presence and want to bully us. Both teams will have nerves - just hope its not a repeat of Plymouth. I think we will beat them 2-0 Hawaaaaaaaaaay
Looks like Rotherham are bringing less support than Cambridge did ... ... hopefully they're demoralised and so is the team.
Another classy RTB match thread for what is a massive game for both teams. Given what's at stake for both sides, I'm expecting a tense cagey affair. They'll probably play it long, looking to find Smith. I'm sure Batth can handle him. As someone has mentioned, we can't give away silly free kicks and corners because that will play to their strengths. If Gooch and Embo play like they did on Saturday we'll murder them. Both of our front 2 will be buzzing, and we need to have a quick tempo and pass around them, which is our strength. I've erred on the side of caution by predicting a draw, but we are more than capable of turning these over. First goal crucial and if we get the second, I think we'll get more. Please win lads and save us from the final day agony! Haaaaawwwaaaaaaayyyyyy!
We know their following will be absolutely pathetic for such a big game in their season but hey ho… come on Sunderland
No it won't be 'absolutely pathetic' . . . . they're Rotherham, not Sunderland The size/passion difference is significant
Rotherham on their forum are going through ramifications of scores as we are. Whilst not forgetting they stuffed us at their home ground 5-1 iirc. If we win...
I am confident for this one. We are the form team and we have options. I also think the players will want revenge. They know they ballsed up away at Sheff Wed and hammered them in the return. I think it might be a similar story tomorrow - professional pride will dictate that they want to put that right.
4-0 tomorrow then we beat Morecambe 2-0 they lost to Gills 1-0 and Plymouth beat M K Dons. Wigan................... 46..90 points Sunderland............46..86 gd + 30 , more goals scored than Rotheham. rotherham..............46..86....gd + 30 promotion !
If we're talking about piss poor support, look no further than Chelsea. 3rd in Premier League and their last 2 home gates have been 32,000, 8,000 below capacity. Shocking!
