This seems to be an attempt to rebuild a bridge or two, but it reads as a fairly clumsy attempt from my viewpoint. https://www.watfordfc.com/news/club-statement-supporter-committee
All been easily avoided - bit of PR disaster really . At a time when the club needs fans to be on side and buying season tickets.
Not sure of the source. Its expected that Joao Pedro will stay at Watford next season even if relegation does occur
Yup. Giving it large at club and things went south after being told to turn things down by the door staff. Blues and twos and a bloody mess, not for the first time, is the rumour.
Duncan Disorderly has history - 3 months in jail for an onfield assault in Scotland + I seem to remember he caught a burglar in his house who ended up in hospital for a few days as a result. Scotland 's answer to Vinny Jones... I wasn't aware that Dyche was similarly inclined?
Good to hear - we'll probably need him next season and this suggests he's capable of rising to a challenge.
Yes - along with the other players out on loan he could well play a key part of the squad as I can see a number of first teamers going (Samir back to Udinese for example?)
I'd rather Samir stayed to be honest. He does have three years left on his contract, but I guess that doesn't mean much these days. Him, Pollock and Sierralta could be decent centre backs in the Championship.
Presumably so. I guess we don't know what goes on behind the scenes or on the training pitch - but it has puzzled me why the likes of the error-prone WTE got picked ahead of him. Apart from an unfortunate own goal, I don't think he made too many mistakes - and I can't remember him playing too badly.
Would you take an entertaining season but missing out on promotion next season ? Basically the opposite of the Ivic/Munoz season ! As the tweet suggest a Zola 2012/13 type season .
Absolutely.... but obvious implications for the club finances post parachute payments... so it could become a downward spiral
Quina has returned to the club. https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2022/april/bassi-quina-and-gomes-to-depart/
