The National League Play-Off Final, which will be played between two of Chesterfield, Wrexham, Halifax, Notts County, Solihull Moors and Grimsby, will be played at the London Stadium. Villa Park would seem a rather more sensible choice, both geographically and capacity-wise.
Definitely, but when did common sense get in the way of filling the coffers of the London based soccer community.
Probably the right choice. Wasn’t it originally the Olympic Stadium? The Olympics are, historically, an event for amateurs. With the likes if GRIMsby & now sCUNThorpe populating the level, it couldn’t be more apt.
Yeah rank amateurs are Grimsby, more top flight seasons than us and professional before the start of the modern Olympics. In my opinion Wembley is more apt for a game that gives EFL status.
You can’t always live in the past. That’s akin to being a Scouser for most of the last 30 years or a Leeds supporter prior to 68 & since the early 70s They are where they are now. Non League Amateur Cod Heads
They may be somewhere different come final day, and I have no doubt that final should be at Wembley. Oh, and they seem to have some well 'paid' amateurs.
