he was their only outlet and played it well if once again being far too keen to try and get decisions by going to ground .
He was the only good thing from their perspective. Obviously Man Utd bound once Everton are relegated though...
Divock Origi, what a legend! Alisson Becker, what a legend! All those in between, legends in the making. As for Everton, what a horrible, horrible, toxic club and fanbase they've become. Those who said they'd miss the derby, did yesterday convince you that we wouldn't miss this awful spectacle? I feel sorry for any decent blues but they've allowed themselves to be drowned out and replaced with what we saw yesterday.
I said yesterday that he's a good prospect if he stops trying to earn frees by falling over in a breeze. Definitely has talent, but suffers from the modern malaise of thinking cheating is a legitimate tactic. Everton tried every possible dirty trick yesterday - time wasting from the off, diving, feigning injury, sneaky fouls and blatant attempts to provoke the opposition into retaliation. Awful performance, and anyone claiming they played well is crazy imo. That's the sort of performance you expect from a Pulis or Dyche team with no aspirations beyond survival. Everton are supposed to be above that but they've shown they fully deserve to be where they are.
I would not expect that form allardyce and pulis. I can recall Allardyce sat in the dugout with he feet up on the hoardings in the old main stand chewing a fat lump of gum delighted with himself for west sham getting a 0-0 but they were not in the danger zone at that point. They also didn't have 175 of the ball
There was also end product, after that control he went pats Coleman and set up a chance. Compare that to ASM for Newcastle who did about 10 step over in a little dance, ball didn’t move and then passed it backwards to team mate.
please log in to view this image the funniest thing aside form alisson showing up pickford is the absolute rage around the bitters. absolutely convinced they were robbed. absolutely 100% convinced they ref robbed them of a pen and a sure victory.
Love Diaz. I think his signing has not only given us an extra genuine threat but it helps to rotate the front 3 more and give them a boost. It's allowed us to move Mane into a central role which I think is now better suited to him.
And to think he hasn't had a pre season to settle and can barely communicate with his teammates. Will only get better going forward.
