This is a great shout, he's a very talented player - quick, decisive, committed. And I think he's so unfashionable that he wouldn't cost a lot.
We still need a top end CB. Probably a DM and a GK of a higher calibre as well. I think we're still 5 short of a really decent side.
I agree 100% with Paqueta and Targett. I reckon more chance of us winning CL this year than us signing the other 2. EDIT:....... I may wish to retract my statement with regards Botman.
I think I'd be looking at maybe 5 signings. Targett (15M), CB (I like that Bremer at Torino we've been linked with), DM (I like the idea of Kamara on a free if its possible just because he looks very good and would help with flexibility on other signings as free), an CM/AM (Paqueta), and a striker. We could also do with competition out wide for ASM and Fraser, but I think we should target the above first because they are key to us gaining more possession, and ultimately more control in games. That will see us create more and get the likes of ASM into better areas. We can of course improve elsewhere too including GK, cover at right and left back, another CB but I don't think they are priorities and its not realistic all at once. Plus it might be unsettling for some if not gradual. The manager and players have put us in a great slot for the summer though. Loan wise too, I think we will shop in a better market too. Fringe players at the really big clubs like Real Madrid and PSG are likely to be an option.
