Makes perfect sense given that we raised the standard of EU regulations to meet ours, just a bit stupid that the EU will no longer accept ours without checks
So 42% wanted a candidate that want's out of the EU, the movement seems to be growing over the water.
The claims she wants out of the Eu were more the French version of project fear. What she did advocate was more a move back to the common market. Just like here, project fear propaganda meant that a good percentage of EU luvvies didn't know what they were voting for.
Were they British yes. A big part of the problem is that a significant part of that 25 mile queue are EU based trucks that have delivered a load and are on their way back. One of the reasons why EU transport companies are reluctant to come here and consequently hiking their prices, with the inevitable knock on to UK inflation. 42% of those who voted NF comprises around one in four of those eligible to vote so, assuming that they are all anti EU that's about one in four. Le Pen, who was rabidly anti EU has trimmed having realised that there is little appetite for Frexit. The reason for the drop in the popularity of that policy doesn't require the French to look very far. About 40km in fact.
Quite happy with my 25/75 split between France and the UK thanks. I'm doing ok with business this side - selling restored 2CV's!

Was you born near a nuclear plant? It's just that you seem to keep on shooting your self in the foot so often, you must have ****ing loads of them.
In his final election address Macron promised the French could rent an electric car for less than €1 a month. Really? Not possible. Doubt they could meet the demand. Everyone would be trying to sell their cars and no-one would want them. I think I'll buy up cars on the cheap and export them.
