    I decided to confirm my status as a sad bastard this week and created a twitter account. One of the feeds I've started following is RealTimeWWII which sends updates from the corresponding date/time in 1939. I'm effectively watching WWII 'as-live' with a 72 year delay.

    I'd therefore be grateful if everyone could refrain from mentioning the final result for the next 6 years.

    I got a twitter account as well this week <spooky>

    Just looked at the ww2 thing. Looks good so I signed up.

    I'm sure ER will get a mention in it before long.

    Napoleon. Er, that's about it really, unless you count William The Conqueror, and he was technically Danish.

    Come to think of it, Napoleon was Corsican, so that's a total of no French war heroes.
