So apparently crypto currency firms are in the running to be our next shirt sponsor. This doesn't seem to be a good thing to me. I'd rather not have a betting company either tbh.
yup neither for me. I'd be happy with a privacy invading secretive organisation like google who have covered the mclaren with branding recently. Betting companies for me are doing massive harm and being let awaywith murder so at some point regulation will come in and shut the cash down. Crypto needs to pay 100% up front for all the time or i wouldn't take a red cent off them. its damaging the environment burning electricity chasing after blockchain on servers globally. Bitcoin mining alone accounts for more electriciy usage than norway. add in all the other and ever expanding list of cryptos we are bruing the planet chasing thin air.
Honestly Standard Chartered has been a decent sponsor. Nice and boring and non offensive... And British based too which is a nice thing. Below Crown and Candy on the pecking order but better than most clubs.
Quote: By The Associated Press ISSAQUAH, Wash. — An invasive species is consuming and competing with native species in western Washington, including salmon. Scientists have spotted African clawed frogs in Issaquah, Lacey and Bothell, KING5 reported. The frogs were initially brought into the United States to be used in pregnancy tests... _____________________________________ How long do you have to pee on a frog before a blue line shows up if youre pregnant? Article doesn't explain how to use African Clawed Frogs as a pregnancy test.
Update. Interesting. https://www.businessinsider.com/xen...d frogs used to,1940s through the early 1960s. Apparently they're actually quite reliable as a pregnancy test. Inject the frog with woman's urine and if she's pregnant the hormones in her urine will cause the frog to lay eggs within 24hrs.
To my bafflement, I knew this litte fact, they where still being used in the NHS upuntil the 70s I think. **** knows where ive absorbed that little bit of useless information from, and what bit of important information it replaced.
The 1970's wow that's astonishingly recent. (Although article says they were almost 100% accurate... I could be wrong but I don't think the modern pee strips are nearly that accurate... Especially the ones I see in the dollar store at the check out... ) The thing that made me laugh was how casually the article states the frogs escaped after being pregnancy tests without elaborating, as if that's something common and every day.
They are an amazingly accurate way of testing for pregnancy. I think when they stopped being used a few places basically tipped them out the front door.
Jurgen Klopp on extending with Liverpool: “We sat in the kitchen at the table and Ulla [Klopp's wife] said, 'I can't see us leaving in 2024.' When that started then I thought, let's have a think and when I thought about it then it was clear I need to have one more really important conversation and that was the one to Pep Lijnders. “Pep is probably the main reason for it - he is a real energiser – you know him, this man is on fire and our connection is beyond football. When he said, 'Oh, yes, I am in!' it was clear that we are open for talks. “I didn’t need too long to answer in truth. The answer was very simple… I’m in love with here and I feel fine!” Gotta love Klopp!
He’s just a good down to earth bloke isn’t he. I’m sure other managers are the same but I do struggle to think of one that comes across similar to klopp personality wise to the public. He just fits the club, he gets the fans and the club and just been a perfect match.
He seems to have a very similar approach to most things in life & football as me too, I can really relate to most things he does and says.
I feel that way about James Bond. We're basically the same person. Name is Potato, Blue Potato. Daniel Craig is from Cheshire, I'm from Cheshire. He supports Liverpool, I support Liverpool. He's married to Rachel Weiss, I've always wanted to bang her. Bond is the international man of mystery. I'm an international man who keeps mystery snails. Pomacea Bridgesii, common name Mystery Snail. He got his balls scratched in Casino Royal, I've scratched my balls in a casino too!
