I've been watching the whole top 10 thing for a while. The truth is that there's a top 8 and then really anyone can make the midfield from 9th to 16th. Leicester were awful, played less games and then picked up for a few games and sailed up to 9th. Brighton have slumped totally. Palace won a few, went on cup run and stopped playing league as hard. Villa are rubbish. Gerrard is about 5 games from the sack there at any time imo Newcastle started playing freely once they got a few points above 18th. They are enjoying it by the look of it. Most are on the beach due to the crap at the bottom.
So chelsea are losing rudiger and christensen and azpi really wants out as well. Silva is as old as sin as well. Add in the lukaku and werner millstones and there's going to have to be a lot of change to the oligarchy this summer once they go bankrupt and are saved.
thats been common knowledge for months the only thing still to be confirmed is where Rudiger ends up .
Leeds needs 6 points to be on 40 points and Everton needs 11 points. Relegation is pointing to Everton.
I’m finding it funny that a non entity like Paul Canoville is saying that Lewis Hamilton can’t be part of a Chelsea takeover bid.
Tbh it's ridiculous. However the Broughton bid is fast becoming a celebrity who's who and you start to wonder if such a bid with loads of celebs topping up is actually right for a stable club. The ultimate aim imo is massive cash in by flaoting on stock market but with a 10 year ownership retention commitment it means those owners need to fund at an oil doper level for 1p years prior to the bog cash in.
I’ve not really taken any notice of who the bidders are for Chelsea. It’s when this article of Canoville gobbing off came up I took a look and laughed at what he had to say.
How many English teams qualify for European football? There are seven European spots open to English sides - although that number could rise to nine and the amount of teams in each individual competition can shift. As a basis: The top four in the Premier League qualify for the Champions League group stage Fifth place and the FA Cup winners qualify for the Europa League group stage The Carabao Cup winners qualify for the Europa Conference League playoff However, because this season the FA Cup winner will be either Liverpool or Chelsea, and both those teams look set to finish in the top four, their Europa League qualifying spot for winning the FA Cup will be passed down to the next highest Premier League finisher who doesn't qualify for Europe. Similarly, because Liverpool won the Carabao Cup and are set to finish in the top four, their Europa Conference League qualifying spot from that competition will go to the next highest Premier League finisher without European football.
i dont know that this is the case as the limit is 7 and they may simply stop the pass down of places. League cup won by LFC FA cup between russian fascist horde and LFC. If west ham win the europa (by no means certain) then there will be 5 in the CL and its then a matter of if uefa really want 7 english clubs in europe. The rules i think have a limit for the pass down and it can't go below 8th?
