If Vlad fired nukes at Hull they would probably land somewhere in County Kildare and not go off. They would not be allowed to land in the centre of Hull because the cretins on the City Council would stop them for not using the bus or cycle lanes. Tactical nukes would probably improve certain areas of Hull. Is the Russian General that has the keys for the nukes still alive?
Perhaps the local Conservative Party offices have realised that if they want their people to continue to work in local government then they should stand only on local issues (an argument that should apply to all parties). How my Council Tax is wasted is what these elections are about not how crooked the parties are at Westminster. Being an apologist for Boris and making excuses for the media frenzy that is Partygate is obviously not going to be a vote winner. Since “Local Conservative” fits the Electoral Commission requirement for a party name to be entirely in Roman Script it would be valid; however, this specific name is not registered with the Electoral Commission. They should be using “Local Conservatives”, the plural form. When the Conservatives registered to stand candidates wherever Ms Miller lives, the electoral registration officer should have corrected it. Of course, it might be the case that Ms Miller has missed off the ‘s’ in her hurry to tweet. If her name were Khan, I would expect her to have registered to vote 50 times by post.
