I don't think he needs to prove himself. He just needs to be given the freedom to play the game he wants. So much of our goal scoring problem this year is because we don't have enough people (apart from maybe Broja) who will try to find the net at the earliest opportunity. It's probably down to the instructions they've been given by the coaching staff but the strategy seems to be rain in crosses or forward passes into the box and hope someone gets on the end of it. Now watch the video below. How many goals do you see Adam getting from inside the area? We have a star player. Use him or lose him. Then watch him score against us.

Incidentally, I'm currently watching Brentford v Spuds. Brentford are playing exactly how we should be playing. It's good to watch even though it's still 0-0. Unless we have a change in plan tomorrow, I fear the worst.

It would appear that way. I thought he would be up and running after scoring against Everton in the opening game. Then a few near misses and confidence ( self and fans) spiralled downwards). I would let him play the last five games to see if there is a player in there
