We probably need to win on Saturday, in our final game at home to Rotherham to avoid relegation, and Tuesday prior to that you play Rotherham yourselves, the outcome of those two games, could well decide an auto place, and you can be sure Neil Harris will do everything possible to get our boys to turnover The Millers, even if we have to cheat. <laugh><ok>

I didn't know that but it makes sense, yeah you might well be right about that he'd help defend from the front too.

We need to stuff Rotherham on Tuesday then. That would be nice….tip the GD status a bit more in our favour…

Can you imagine if we'd appointed Ainsworth instead of Parkinson? I probably would have given up my season card

This. That greasy prick couldn’t be anywhere near SAFC. Saying that, Parkinson was bad enough…

He’s certainly not ****e but he’s the most frustrating player we have imo. When he’s on his game he’s superb but still on too many occasions he picks the wrong option and it’s bloody infuriating at times.

    He was immense today however.

Mate. I honestly can't stand him. Says nice things after a game and folk thinks he's class. I still swear it was his remit to injure Watmore a few seasons back.

Alex Neil: "there'll never be a game while I'm at this club that won't be a big game". Love this man.

might just be me but i am sat here wondering if others have noticed a bit of a change in some players, notably embo and gooch...both look as if they are just keeping things simple and doing just what needs doing rather than trying to go past several players or falling over trying for a free kick then waving arms around for 5 minutes, and they not only look better players for doing it but contribute much more to the team.

onien, when played more central is also (imho) more involved..this is starting to look like 'the AN way', just keep it simple and effective...players no longer appear to be legging it all over the place yet we can still play some nice football mixed with some long balls, this could also be the reason dan neil is not starting as AN is wanting him in the same mind-set while 'protecting' him a wee bit by not sticking him in the limelight.

maybe the team just 'clicked' and the above is complete nonsense but i am liking what i am seeing so far.

If Gooch could bring consistency to his game he wouldn't be in this league.
I find he always plays really well like he did today against a shyte fullback, but once his cards been marked against a good one he goes into abit of a shell.
He relies on being faster than his marker and if he's against a pacy fullback he doesn't really know how to handle it.
I really hate to show abit of negativity on what was an unbelievable performance by him, but this is my opinion, and the whole reason of having a place like this.

I have no idea what his name is, but whoever Lincolns leftback was last year including league, playoffs and Pizza cup games (not sure if its still the same lad they have now), but i noticed in all of them games we played against them that he knew Gooch inside out and matched him for pace, and Gooch was no where to be seen all the times we played them. This is what made me first suss him out as a player.

I think this is why we see a different Gooch depending on who he plays against.
