Howe has done a cracking job. Almost £100M spent in January helped, mind.

everyone gobsmacked that Newcastle are in the top half of the table it seems? The small matter of 90 plus million pounds spent in January and 4 months of the season to go has slightly contributed to that.

£90 million spent and benefitting from covid breaks. They had payers to fulfil the fixtures, but had them delayed until they were full strength and reinforced. And tje last few weeks theyve benefited from a favourable run of fixtures against teams with nowt to play for. Still a bunch of c**ts though

Everton going down will put an end to us getting Broadhead in, imo. For that reason I want them to stay up.

League 1 refereeing in a nutshell! The keeper puts the ball down, kicks it forward to where he thinks the kick should be taken, then takes the kick. Ref gives it the other way as indirect (correctly imo) then the attacker places his foot on the ball, thus playing the ball, then releases his foot from the ball, but is allowed to kick it again. Literally one rule for one and one for the other

Think that’s the only reason for me. I hear “far too big a club to go down” yet, when a Sunderland fan said the same the same press people say “Well what have they done, they deserve it a they’re in the three worst teams (etc etc). Annoys the hell out of me. Just because you’re a big club (from years ago. Like we were) doesn’t mean you’re too big. But their new stadium will look nice in the championship!
