Still talking then? I tried explaining where my opinion stems from and you decided to go off on a half page rant and continue to offend my conduct as a moderator, whether directly or indirectly.

Not sure whether you're worth the time of day to be honest.

You are probably right about Liverpool players in general, most top clubs only lose players due to them want to go 'home' or to a better climate etc so I think you have a point there.

However I think by reading the posts the B4F was talking about footballers in general hence the 'current climate of footballers' in which case he could provide plenty of examples that could support his 'opinion'.

Surely Lucaas you can see why people may question footballers loyalty based on historic events, albeit not neccesarily at Liverpool ? ( That said loyalty works two ways has we've all seen how our clubs can disregard players when we no longer want them )

My quibble was more with the fact he said footballers come and go for money whenever they play. I don't believe that to be true, otherwise they'd all be playing in Qatar, Dubai, China etc.

I don't believe money is much of a reason for moving anymore, I believe there are many more reasons footballers look at before money, as they know they'll be well paid wherever they decide to go to. As a couple of examples, Fabregas paid part of the fee (or took a wage cut to bridge the gap between what Barca were willing to pay, and what Arsenal wanted so he could move), similar with Mascherano. Torres also accepted a pay cut moving from Atletico to Liverpool. Onyewu had offered to go an year without pay at AC Milan if he signs the extension as he feels he owes them for missing a whole season through injury. IMO trophies, size of club, location of club and nationality of team mates plus ambition of club are all factored in by 95% of footballers before they think about the money.

Where did you find my picture??

as for the B4F modship discussion going on in here (which is irrelevent to the original post and any discussions there after). B4F was chosen when a back up was being discussed between myself and the site admins. Like all mod decisions.. KPR's modship was chosen in the same way although KPR's modship was based on the amount of time he was online at the time to mod (he lived on the board), the fact that a good percentage of his posts were decent in quality (althogh this diminished over time) and I thought the responsibility of modship might tone down his anti-utd personality... unfortunatly it didn't and that was his downfall.

B4F was an outstanding mod when modding these forums, you don't realise the amount of utter ****e he deleted which could of clogged up the forums because once it's gone its out of sight. Seriously, Lucaas unless you're a member of this forum's staff you wouldn't understand the amount of crap we have to sift through on a sometimes daily basis

Chill out guys, everyone has different opinions and we should accept that. If you don't agree with a supporter of another club then feel free to let rip, but when it's with our own supporters lets have a little respect.

Lucaaas and B4F you are valued members of this board and if you don't agree on something then just let it go and move on to another thread.

I love you both and feel sad that you have fallen out, I'm a bit tearful at the moment and want to give you both a hug. I'm going off for a bit of a cry and when I come back I want to feel the love.
