shame it was not 7 or 8 now considering we could have got 2nd place but for goal difference, bit annoying this like that bad run might have done us, another 4 points and there would have been 48,000 down there on Tues. never have i seen so many chances wasted in a game could have been 10-0, but we can win the play offs if they turn up.

Best I've seen him play. Pirlo, Xavi, Iniesta, Zidane..take your pick. They all wish they had his ability. <cheers>

Nah, seriously, he was absolutely superb in that deeper role, and I've had my doubts about him playing there. I know they were pretty crap and it was against 10 men but that's what he is capable of, he should be running the show in this league.

And because he's often in and out of the side.

He's been as consistent as anyone this season, better than most.

Hes played well in most games this season imo.

No need to mention it at all.

Stewart has been consistently dreadful recently tbh ...

... no one seems to mention that.

Great to see Gooch doing so well I feel he's overdue some praise. What a performance, we should have scored 8 just thanks to him.

I thought O'Nien was class today and showed a level of quality that he doesn't get credit for. Loads of lovely touches, some perfectly weighted through balls and generally excellent link up play.

I cant believe I am saying this, but. we beat Rotherham 2 nill. final game Gills needing points to stay up beat Rotherham by 1 goal. we beat Morecaambe 5 nill.. and hope Plymouth beat Mk Dons. likely, probably not but hey ho.

I love it when Gooch plays like that, next to Geads he's the best crosser we have from a natural winger.
How poor was Cambridges LB though. The amount of times he fell for Gooch feinting it on to his right foot and whipping a cross in was embarrassment

ONiens through ball to the wing to Gooch between about 4 players was excellent and like you say, he showed another side to his game
