UEFA have a rule that no country can have more than 7 teams in Europe, even if they have won all three of the European competitions the year before. There are 4 champs league places to top four (unless an English team wins the champs league and/or Europa League without finishing in top four, in which case they would take the spot(s) that would have gone to the 4th place, or even 3rd place teams. Two in Europa League - one from league and one from FA Cup winners (unless FA Cup winners have already qualified via the league and then it goes to next league place) One in Europa Conference League to League Cup winners (unless, like this year, the winners have already qualified via the league and then it goes to next league place) The lowest league position that can qualify for Europe is 7th (unless a lower placed team wins a cup and takes one/two of those 7 places)

Apologies for the reaction of some of our fans. Personally I'm happy in The Championship. We are never going to have the money to compete up top. I don't like the Saudis ( that's not racist btw) but you lads are obviously happy. Good luck next season.
