    Who are City’s scouts these days? How would you put a player onto their radar?

    It depends. Stuart White is the chief scout, he sends everybody else out to watch opposition, other players, potential targets etc. Top bloke. If the player is a full professional, he’s the guy you want.

    If it’s for the youth team, you want to be speaking to Richard Naylor, who is the head of youth development. He arranges trials,sees to contracts etc for the youth and reserves.

    Had a response back from Stuart White. Very impressed!

    Player suggested has been watched twice already with another possible scouting trip before the end of the season planned
