This. They'll put more effort into this than any other game this season. Hence resting half their team midweek.
2-0 and hopefully Stewart back on the scoresheet. Taking the grandbairn to his 1st match so hopefully he gets off to a good start.
Well done again RTB on producing another classic match thread! I don't care if Cambridge rested 7 players in midweek, we will still have more than enough to polish them off if we are on our game. The fact they beat Wigan is irrelevant, they are still mid-table and the table doesn't lie at this stage of the season. We beat Wigan 3 times this season, twice on their patch, but we are a sixth placed team and they are top. If they are treating it like a cup final, I hope they enjoy the occasion, but we have a job to do and if we apply ourselves properly we'll win. They are a side who have scored 19 goals less than us in the League and conceded 16 more. Without being complacent, all of our players should be looking forward to playing them and fancying themselves to get 3 points while filling their boots. Having Pritchard back would be a major boost and the form Broady's in, I can see him notching a couple tomorrow. I'm going 4-1 to the lads. Broadhead (2), Stewart and Pritchard on the scoresheet.
I don't see what my view's have to do with it. You asked what the rules are and I replied with links. What you decide to do is your choice. No I didn't refuse to be vaccinated. I didn't want the vaccine, I questioned it, as have a plethora of medical experts I had Covid at the start and some medical experts believe that in itself builds up an immune system. Pre Covid, if we were having the same conversation as now but you had been suffering with Flu. Would you be considering not going to the match ?
Play like we did first half an hour against Shrewsbury and we will be fine. Just need to play at that level for a full match and every team will struggle to contain us.
Oops Carry on the splendid work my good man Although it was relevant to "going to the match" . I'll shurrup now
Another decent match thread (I’d say superb but Everton else says that so I’m downplaying so it doesn’t become white noise @RTB) Another one of those games I’d be happy with a scrappy 1-0. Hoping for a big win though
8-0. Being conservative here as we might just hit double figures in this one. Ross x 4, Pritch & Embers 1 each and Broady 2 x late ones. Would prefer 4-1-4-1 and just go for it from the beginning. Back 4 with a sweeper should be sufficient and then just bomdard them with Pritches wizardry, Embers shooting prowess and Ross having a Neymaresque performance. Goes without saying RTB but I will anyway yet another class thread.
Apologies mate it was me who asked the initial question and I appreciate the advice given. It wasnt my intention to begin a covid discussion and definitely not my intention for folk to start arguing about rules and vaccinations etc. Anyway I will shut up about it now just wanted to hopefully clear any unnecessary tension between posters. Onto the game and let's smash these bastards and cement our spot bin the playoff lottery. Still don't know which way I want the Wycombe Sheff Wed game to go but look after ourselves and we will be fine I guess.
According to Cambridge they're bringing 1,000 up which is a fifth of their home gate against Charlton. That's quite a turn out for a meaningless match. I expect they'll be criticising us for thinking we're a bigger club than them. I think we can say we'll have around 33,333, win 3-0 and start saying goodbye to Division 3.
Oh apologies mate and to @Sunderpitt . And I wasn't giving advise, just answering your question with the current rules HA'WAY THE LADS.
