He didn’t stand out in the game against us, and given how Lukaku has done moving from Inter to chelsea would be hesitant. Can’t remember many players moving from italy to England and being a huge success, Salah the obviously exception? Of we’re talking striker that did well against us Nunez at benfica is the obvious one that stands out as potentially being an option but just don’t see us buying any striker unless one moves on. We’ve got 5 for 3 spots atm, CM cover for Fab is prob most urgent position to strengthen in summer.
I think in general talent is talent. Klopp has bought a few right across europe but nearly half have come from English clubs and 25% form German clubs thus far. only 2 form italy and both from roma so that seems to suggest a strategy that we watch a long time and like to see them either perform in CL or in the english prem.
Mohamed Salah says he doesn’t know whether he’ll be able to agree a new contract at Liverpool, stressing that the negotiations are not just about money.
Most players do tbf Can't say I can impressed but bit harsh to write him off because of how he performed against us
Probably, although to me... That's money. I want to make sure you're paying me mega-dough until I'm 40.
Wasnt writing him off on that. Just saying out of the forwards we played in the CL, Nunez looked the much more dangerous in what you’d say was probably a weaker side. Add in that Lukaku outshone Martinez last year and has flunked at Chelsea and players moving from Italy to prem often struggle, I can’t see us being interested.

I like Nunez from what I've seen of him a lot. Have only seen him against us, so I'm far from an expert on whether he's good enough or not. But from what I see he's definitely someone I'd love to see in our home colours. (And our away colours)
If we are talking total cl this season then Diaz was the best player to play us. Nobody else was really that impressive bar Darwin and the common message is nobody had the pace to really trouble bar those two. They had the pace but nunez was also strong and direct. I felt he missed poorly in the first leg against us. Quite a few crap shots miles over but he got the goal and settled down.
Not worried. Easy solution is to say keits has to play for his future now. Right now. We can only benefit if he stays fit and performs like he did v benfica.
