I’ve watched some gardening channels 0n YouTube but never come across any old comedies. I will certainly give it a search.
I was leaning heavily towards Netflix but this has put me off. I’ll wait and see how long and often the ads are on, on this one. Otherwise it’ll be Amazon Prime.
That’s interesting about the Russia knock-on effect. I hadn’t thought about that but I reckon we will be finding even more surprise little niggles caused by the conflict.
This is news to me (I realise the article is recent anyway but i wasn't aware) and I will certainly be cancelling if ads come in. I could cancel now and use an iptv service save myself a fortune but I appreciate what I watch and think it's worth the fee. I won't however accept paying for it and have to sit through ads.
I think the price increase has lost Netflix a few subscribers. The version with ads is probably so they can offer a reduced price HD option.
Thanks to everyone who gave their advice. I’ve decided to go for Prime, at least until we know more about the Netflix adverts. As a footnote, tonight I’ve had my eyes opened about YouTube thanks to roochy. Very naughty!
Optus Sport is $15 per month (about 8 quid). It's also offered free on some of their mobile or internet plans The world cup is being broadcast free to air over here with SBS. This link may work from overseas but you might need a VPN https://www.sbs.com.au/ondemand/live
It's lost them a load of subscribers tbh. They (and others) are now looking at the 'shared accounts' where people are going halves for different households to try and stop it, I hope they all go pop tbh.
Cheers for this mate. The world cup is still on free TV here, but with FIFA stream, its only a matter of time for it not to be. Simon Jordan was on about how EPL is a fortune to see on TV over here, and he mentioned how cheap it was in Oz, quoted about 10 quid in pounds for as much football as you like. So the country its in, you can't see all of it and have to pay top dollar for to watch, or for the price of 2 cups or coffee over here you can watch what you like abroad.
netflix 10 a month no adverts and every series and movie you could wish for, if you want a link for Sunderland matches boxing NFL i can give you them
Thanks Roger. I’m ok for Sunderland matches at the moment but I’ll take the link just as a precaution.
Most films now push some bullshìt pc liberal wànker agenda. The new James Bond is a prime example. Utter shìte and the worst one ever. I'm glad I'm fookin gerrin old and not starting out in this snowflake society.
well said mate, makes me laugh that twitter twats with less then 1% support can push firms around with the ban culture as they think they are more powerful then what they are, just dopey gobshites
