without wanting to get into a debate about points per game won being relevant to who you’ve actually played… a look at the games Burnley had left and they were never out of it For the same reasons we aren’t safe
I agree 100% I’ve never written them off. I’ve always felt if we avoid relegation it will more likely be at the expense of Everton. I just know my worst nightmare is going to become a reality and we’ll need something against Brentford and Pontus
No, just with our games coming up we will probably rely on Everton and Burnley dropping points. Just being realistic.
If Ell mentions Ward Prowse signing for us, ever again, I'm going to get brb to ban him for a month. He's ****ing ****e
Thought that myself but my worry with Everton is although their next two fixtures are Liverpool and chelsea they have a fair few mid table sides left with nothing to play for.
Everton's run in is no different than ours....hard, so as I said it's up to us they have to better us don't forget
Sometimes a dose of reality is needed to wake up those as thick as pig **** to the fact we're right in this relegation fight. So please can we stop the ridiculous professing that we're safe until we actually are. Hopefully Jesse and the players have been fully focused whilst resting & training as they prepare themselves for one hell of a tough run in.
No matter how anyone views it, without the red card against Wolves under JM we’ve only beaten the bottom two teams, we also failed to beat Southampton. I think you might have said in a previous post, the real test for Jesse starts on Monday. The six points against the bottom two just kept us in the mix, without them we were as good as gone with Watford and Norwich. If Burnley beat Wolves the pressure on us against Palace would be unimaginable. After Palace the next three games we’d do well to get 1 point.
I agree but you have to balance the Wolves win with the Leicester game. We dominated Leicester and lost. Wolves dominated us until the red card and we won. The Leicester game might have been Marschs best performance.
To be honest Rich we're slightly better off right now than I was expecting, the unbelievable win against Wolves coupled with Burnley's defeat at Norwich have definitely helped. We're all definitely going to be pretty frazzled come the end of the season though that's for sure.
jeez Jammy - get the butler to the 24 hr pharmacy for your Prozac fella and tell him to hide the razor blades while he’s gone
Quickly followed by his worst against Villa who toyed with us at ER. That's Villa who are one place above us by the way.
