Absolutely agree mate. It’s fantastic what they have achieved and we can now try new stuff and tactics without the worry. What an achievement Howe has done. All credit and massive respect to the new owners. It is the new horizon.

Dunno if its been posted, but we are now closer in points to the top 7 than we are the bottom 3. Amazing, amazing second half of the season. While our old manager is causing a trainwreck in the Championship.
Since Ashley took over we have only ever finished on 50 points or more once in the season we finished 5th under Pardew, prior to that it was a pretty regular occurrence. I doubt we'll get to that figure this season due to our horrendous start to this campaign but next season and beyond that has to be our target as a bare minimum in my opinion and then build from there. Historically 50 points gets you into/around the top 10, based on the fact that we were winless from our first 14 games I see no reason with some quality additions in the summer for us to be aiming for Europa League next season and Champions league within 3. I think the fun will start here now that we're safe, not mathematically of course but we are like.
I knew like... I was surprised when we signed him while in relegation trouble. There's no reason we can't aim for the top 6 if we can acquire 3/4 players of his caliber.
