Should he be given a run out this weekend with a view to starting on Thursday?

Based what has happened recently bringing Samaras on our starting him, won't build up his confidence as the loud-mouths in the crowd will give him the reception they should reserve only for opponents.

Again you exaggerate the abuse Samaras gets but lets put that to one side. Giving that we short of fit forwards and have a busy schedule using Samaras to keep Hopper and Stokes fit is an option but he is pants and I was wondering if it is worth fielding a weakend side by including him in Europa league (more suited to his style anyway).

    Here we go again.

If samaras did what he was paid to do, week in and week out, he wouldn't get any abuse whatsoever.

He has been supported by three managers and the fans for years but has shown nothing but inconsistency.

I want him to do well because when he is on his game he is excellent, but he is a luxury we can't afford to carry.

**** the Europa League. Our chances of getting through to the next stage are limited and with our threadbare squad we can hardly cope with any more games.

Stick with Stokes/Hooper for Saturday, get a convincing win then play Samaras on Thursday.

You never know, he might be standing in the opposition box twirling his hair and the ball might hit him and end up in the net.

All I have ever wanted is for Celtic supporters when they go to Celtic games is to support Celtic team and players. No one could blame Samaras if he did not play well.
The treatment of Sammy especially at Celtic Park has been terrible.
Tom/cat of course always tries to be little me posts that I make too much of the abuse he receives. That an absolute ridiculous statement. For God's sake he is a Celtic player, we if we are Celtic fans we have to support him. To hear a fair number of our fans one would think he was the most hated Rangers player, the only player I have heard getting more abuse this year was Diouf last season and we all know his reputation
