very harsh imo. Think he’s been one of uniteds better players this season and without him would be far less points. Not sure he had any chance with the 4 goals. 1 was a tap in. Second was shot from 6 yards out. 3rd was perfectly into the corner. And 4th took big deflection over him.

Sorry you’d play a high line with Maguire and Lindeloff, two players that can’t run, and de gea who doesn’t leave his line? You did see our first goal when they played a high line last night?

Crazy some of the money utd have spent on that ****. Most expensive defender in Maguire. Most expensive midfielder in pogba and both are shocking.

Bissaka is complete average too and cost a ridiculous amount.

I would if I had a keeper who would leave his line.

My point is the low block is toxic. You take the two statues who can't run anyway and stand them up the park and running out so they catch lads offside. The arsenal game.

Utds issue is the forwards are isolated and don't track back so they have to close the gaps some way and one good way is to create that massive space behind the slab and the panicker.

The problem is de gea doesn't want to patrol that space like ederson or alisson etc.

Our first goals was not down to a high line it was down to a total uncontrolled position with zero offside. Zero pressure on mane. 2 lfc players in behind dalot who doesn't see anything etc etc.

We play the high line all the time and compress the pitch.

since they don't pressure the oppo midfield even with a sweeper keeper they would get ripped to shreds .
    I like your thinking :emoticon-0148-yes:

The point would be if they close the space so they could maybe try... but yeah I'd take it, can't be any worse than they are today.

thats the guys recommending to pay massive wages?

they need to take out the guy who agreed.

Lets just look at their thinking

sancho. 75mil. vast wage. absolutely demanded by fans. someone approved this move,, i doubt a cheif scout did.
ronaldo. ego trip singing. again i doubt the chief scout was involved.
Maguire. demande dby mourinho was it? then agent ole and utd paid even more than they would have under mourinho
and on and on and on.

There's someone making rank calls at a high level at utd. i assum utd fans would know.

What LFC know is that once ayre and rodgers **** show was moved aside and Mike gordan sat on them all LFC have applied the same thinking rhgiht througg. Style of player, 100% money ball blah blah and klop says yes or no.

any system where horse trading exists where a mangers says benteke and the rests say ok but you have to have firmino too... it just cannot work. we got rid.

Look at the signings and the finger prints all over them.

    grujic. double money- moneyball signing
Matip - klopp demanded him instant he arrived.
wijnaludum ? theres a bit of being followed for a long time.
    klavan - klopp
karius ? no sure who thought this was value but it was clear klopp wanted a change
mane - klopp clearly stated he wanted him and moved for him asap. again klopp mentioned watching him when dortmund coach
robertson - moneyball signing. kolpp said he had to be convinced.
ox - another klopp talked about wanting him for a long time.
Salah - klopp said it was a moneyball type signing he was convinced by edwards
    vvd: klopp
    shaqiri - moneyball
fabinho - not sure but it looked moneyball to me.
    keita 100% klopp
alisson: again its ah he is available? get him quick. klopp move.
    minime - moneyball
    van den berg - moneyball
    lonergan - WTF
    Davies WTF
    Kabak- moneyball
Jota - i've not heard who had this bright idea but it worked well
    Thiago - klopp
    diaz - as per jota.
    konate - who knows.

It seems to be the longer this has gone on the more in tune they are. Klopp still calls the tune but the teams are finding exactly the sort of player he wants and needs. theres few enough gambles in there for value like shaq or minime really.

I get the distinct feel that in contrast someone at utd has a love of a target man forward, and goes about taking in whatever flash player is mentioned like varane or sancho or ronaldo. the van de beek signing is also totally inexplicable.

This sucks... 4 hours to go until I could watch the game and I saw the score. ☹️

Oh well, at least we won, so I know to be in a good mood whilst watching it tonight.

So anyhow, Hi, I'm back on here earlier than planned.

Yeah, because it's the scouts fault!

United have had plenty of fantastic players who would, and have, prospered and performed well at other clubs. The problem isn't that they haven't signed good players (although they've certainly overpaid at times).

I suspect there is a cultural problem amongst the coaches and players at the club. Incidentally, what I've heard about their new coach is he's a tight arse that takes no crap... So probably who and what they need to turn things around.

No. Self exile. Couldn't watch game yesterday so I was staying away until I could watch the game so I wouldn't ruin it for myself knowing who won.

I heard some guy named Milk who was a really fantastic poster got banned and that's why he's not around anymore. I heard it was for something stupid like daring to ask the question "is Andy Gibbs offensive?"
