….bar SheffWed. Win all 3 of their games and they’ll be on 88 points.

Think both Sheff Weds and Wycombe will get 6 points. Wouldn't surprise me if Plymouth only get say a point.

They certainly have hit good form at the right time. They've got potentially tough games with Wycombe and Portsmouth coming up though.

I'm not sure which two I'd rather potentially face in the playoffs out of Rotherham, MK Dons, and Sheffield Wednesday. If Rotherham do drop out of the automatic spots, then they could crumble, so I'd take them. I'd have probably said I'd want to avoid MK Dons, but then they seem to be having a bit of a blip in form just as Wednesday are hitting a good patch.

Still, the thing for our club to concentrate on is winning our own games. Fingers are very much crossed.

The games afoot, its all to play for..

    May the best team win...

    Who wants it more...

The difference between winning and losing can be a matter of inches..

It all depends who turns up on the day...

Wycombe v Sheff Wed is massive. Whatever the result, someone is dropping points. That lets us in. Plymouth have a minging run-in too

It really is a win win win game for us ...

... if there's a few red cards and hamstrings thrown in it could be a win win win win game <laugh>

Some many permutations, so many outcomes.

I've decided it's easier to believe we will win our remaining 3 games and we will end up where we end up

It's a slight worry that they rested 7 players at home to Charlton.

It seems they may be coming to 'prove a point' as many of these L1 teams want to do ...

... I hope we smash them all over the SOL.

I have it with Wycombe dropping out. Got a feeling that Plymouth will beat MK Dons on last day of season. Think we'll beat Cambridge and Morecambe and draw with Rotherham

Think we'll go into the final day in 5th, needing a point to secure play offs.

    That would suit me tbh.

Rotherham, Wigan and Wycombe don't play much football and I'd be happy to see them gone.

I think we'd have a better chance with the other three, especially if Pritchard is back ...

... I'm expecting him to start on Saturday.

They seem to be a Saturday team. Think it's because they play hoolahan at weekends but he doesn't play midweek.

They are a capable team, but we can beat them. They are 12th in the table for a reason.

FFS I've just done a Covid19 test... it was positive.

So no golf tomorrow (can't risk infecting other old duffers like myself), plus the next home game is in doubt...bollocks.

I now feel fine... which is even more galling!

I'd like Wycombe to be nowhere near the play offs. Don't mind any of the others. God, we have to beat Cambridge.

I think it goes to the wire, even if we win all of our games we can get close - but miss out on goal difference to MK Dons.
Morecambe could do us a favour or ruin our season.

    Wigan 91
    MK Dons 86
    ------------------------
    Sunderland 86
    Rotherham 85
    Sheff Wed 84
    Plymouth 83
    ------------------------
    Wycombe 79

Looks like a high bar this season to even get-to the play offs mind.

I had the impression that mid 70 points would normally do it. Looks like some team could easily miss out on 80+.

That ten game run where we got lost and got 6 or 7 points looks pivotal now.

But , where there is hope there will be us nutters still thinking it can go our way!
