    Date - Sunday 24 / 04 / 22

    Venue - Anfield

    KO - 16 : 30

    TV - Sky

Next along on the conveyor belt is a Teasmaid “Frank Lampards” Everton . Since sacking Rafa they have managed to pick up a couple of wins but away from Goodison they have continued to be dreadful and sometimes also gutless and hopefully that trend continues this weekend .

The game at their house was rather enjoyable early Christmas present

    Big old game.

Have to manage games better with more intent.

Imagine if we passed to salah, Diaz and mane for more than just 30% of the game.

Its like we don't want to embarrassed teams with thier greatness so we avoid passing forward

I'm more concerned about this game than I was about Utd, because I think they'll just try to kick lumps out of us, and we could do without injuries just now.

    Unbelievably, brace yourself Saint
That was my big worry with this one, the players, particularly one of them seems to wear causing injury like a badge of honour. I am very worried

Think we will rotate a fair bit going forward. Tough sequence of playing every few days including champions league semi and fa Cup final

Some form of rotation has to happen.

This game is one time to make it happen

    Jota starts surely.
Keita got his little rest there yesterday.
Thiago needs a rest next imo.

Fabinho and robertson imo must start v everton until we see what kind of ****bagging they get up to.

Ref needs to be strong but there's no need for this game to be a lunatic one. Burnely are an arms length from Everton but rudderless so Everton need to think on here.

Allan and Keane sent off recently put them in the ****. They need to be ready for Watford and Brentford games. Even leicester tonight.

They really only need 1 win more imo as I cannot see a rudderless burnely going and winning 3

This is tough as JK needs to rest key players for the next 3 games.

Full backs will be rested, surely. CB’s will be rotated as much as possible, Thiago and Fab need to rest but I suspect that one will be rested and one will play and then be subbed early.

Jota in. The front 3 of last night will play fewer minutes at the weekend….Bobby will play if not injured.

That’s probably too many changes but if we want to win all 3….

If Lampard has been watching the media coverage on how bad the mancs have been portrayed to have played with a lack of energy, no fight or desire in last nights mess then surely he sends them out to defend like their lives depend on it, kicking and shouting at the ref each and every time we go near a everton player. His team talk is done for him as the fans of everton wont accept not trying in this game in particular regardless of the result...!!

I think it will be a totally different game on sunday to the one we saw last night with us coming out on top. Just not 4-0 at a bloomin canter...!!

Derby rest or.newcastle away early game rest?

    My view would be

    Tsimikas v Newcastle.
Gomez v villareal away if result is good first leg
Matip v everton, konate v villareal.

I'd leave henderson in for Derby and play fabinho and keita from the start.

We need to win and control but not fall into the coma of back passing and shutting off half the pitch cos a pack pass is a safe pass.

the most tired players on the pitch are the cbs cos they have to run form the half way line back to a wide position to be facing the right way for a pass from alisson. midfielders not looking for a forward pass knacker the backline to save the legs of themselves.

Of all the players IWOBI got most praise for running about mindlessly v burnley.

I am very sure you are right but if they go chasing we will find space and score.

teams talks are fine but the real encouragement comes on the pitch. Michael oliver encouraged silva and fernandinho to foul all game in the semi final. we encouraged sancho to make a few runs last night. The managers talk is all well and good but it doesn't survive first contact with the enemy. Same as when a boxers game plan goes out the window with the first real hit.

we need to win this early.

But even with emotion and bitterness quotient they have a big old issue

Leicester H tonight everton have the advantage that leicester have a **** tonne of games and just played PSV in europe and newcastle and everton should be fresher. They cannot afford to see Burnley pull a win out v southampton tomorrow so have to go for the win here.

LFC away Sunday Get a red card here and its a big big issue. Lose allan or richarilson or keane for a stupid foul and look what they miss. Burnely play wolves as well so als tough one but at home.

    .......
Chelsea H sunday 1st may. Watford V burnley (a) saturday 30th april - Burnley could catch and pass Everton here
Leicester A 8th may Burnely v villa (H) Burnely play 7th may. Again Burnley could catch and pass Everton here
Watford A 11th may - This is absolutely crucial day for everton
    Brentford H 15th May Spurs v Burnely (a)
Palace H 19th May Villa v Burnely (a) a rinse and repeat game for brunely against the lower half villa. On at same time as palace game.
    Arsenal A 22nd may

everton's need is to go do for Leicester if they can on grounds that Leicester have to be a bit leggy and its at goodison. All signs be they logic or not says that's the game to go for.

As of now theres a 3 point gap with identical GD. Burnley have played a game more. If everton let their hearts and bile ducts rule thier heads against us they culd easily **** up their entire season with a key red card.

Everton can park a bus against us and dig in but they simply cannot afford to lose players for that run in. Burnely have games prior to everton the following weekend and should burnley somehow pull off a run this could end very badly for everton.

My strong view is everton need to go all out v Leicester tonight, I would then pull a backs to the wall one man up job against us hoping for a point but at least not losing many goals for GD. the objective is to be at WORST 3 points clear of bruenly with that game in hand intact going into the cheslea game. Ideally be 6 points clear if they can do it.

Everton would be crazy to even try kick lumps out of LFC players on some macho head trip. Everton have been beaten many times by LFC but relegation will hurt more. they have to try get a point not a broken leg.

Cant see klopp rotating huge amounts tbh.

Think Ali, TAA, Robbo, vvd will play pretty much all remaining games (unless villareal game is done and dusted after first leg).

Hendo is getting rotated a lot with Keita atm. Thiago is getting brought off a lot atm so no need to really leave him out. Just fab that don’t have proper cover for but again, maybe if games are won he can be the one that gets 30 min rest.

Then the front 3 will rotate between the 5 as needed and tbh, have no issue with who plays there. I assume klopp will be analysing which players wojld match up best against each defence and play them as necessary.

I think its a game by game thing

    Everton 24-4 H - hard to call.
Villarreal 27-4 H - NEED TO WIN WELL
Newcastle 30-4 A - not a side to defend well really so this is one where some resting could happen
Villareal 3-5 A - could rest some here with 5 subs.
Spurs 7-5 H - NO CHANCE TO REST
    Villa 10-5 A - 50/50 on rotation here
Chelsea 14-5 N - NO CHANCE TO REST
Southampton 19/20-05 A - some possibility to rest some.
Wolves 22-5 H - NO rests here unless the title is gone
    CL final if lucky 28-5

my ideal would be "some" rotation in what are actually lower half games althrough all are away as well.

Firmino and jota need to be fit and play thier part with mane and diaz and how to manage salah
Milner and henderson need to play their part with keita and thiago.
Konate and tsimikas have thier part to play for matip and robertson
kelleher is there but not sure we need to rest alisson

However after that we need to think hard.

Fabinho and vvd and probabaly trent is the big question. I see right now few issues with rotating the players above in and out but we need to target a newcastle say for fabinho where we play henderson at no 6.
