I sat in the plat club for the leicester game, I had many people state to me it aint worth the extra and the toilets were awful... Well, the toilets are a lot better than the toilets elsewhere in the ground, where there's piss literally everywhere, and massive queues at half time. The bar/club is nice, and the view is basically the best you're going to get in the ground. Also no massive queues to get in. Also it's easier to get tickets there in general due to the price. I'm considering a season ticket there next season tbh. It's worth it I think. Smoother sailing into the ground, great view. It's about 3-400 quid more expensive than gallowgate, but only about 200 quid more expensive than the opposite end.
I like the platinum club. If the Mrs ever comes with me, she will only ever go there. Definitely a great view to be had too.
Iv only recently started buying my tickets there. I don't think I will be moving elsewhere now. The bogs are considerably better too as you say.
Can you get single tickets there? If so how much? As I don't live in the area I can't get a season ticket, but I visit frequently so would consider it for one match.
You can get single tickets there yeah. Not sure the cost, maybe 20 or 30 quid or so more than elsewhere
I like it because the view is great. You can get a seat close to the half way line and the singing is generally in an accent that normal people can understand. As I am also either paying a train fare or the electric charge and a hotel, if its a night game, plus all Chippy’s beer, the extra few quid for the ticket is the least of my worries. Its actually the same price I pay per game at Man Utd for a seat in a bog standard part of the ground, on a season ticket. Excellent value.
Did you try using a Newcastle ticket as an incentive to get work from potential Asian clients in the middle of the Mike Ashley years? When I switch to two Newcastle season tickets next year you definitely wont be getting first dibs on them when I am not there and no clients want them.
I have me own mate But I will accept your excuse for none glory hunting on business grounds to appease the Asian market. On that note, spoke to club today and no decision has been made as of yet on how many new season tickets will be getting issued for next season. e-mails to current season ticket holders not on 10 year plan will be sent later this month and the thoughts were that additional tickets will be offered to current season ticket holders at that time.
I have already asked the Man Utd ticket department if they have a scheme whereby I can convert my season tickets to Newcastle ones but they haven’t got back to me.
No offence but who goes to the match for the bogs . Just have a wazz and get out, you having a party in there or what.
He makes a fortune from selling chewing gum, squirts of aftershave and deodorant whilst passing folks paper towels We are talking about chippy here?
