    We suddenly have over half of our usual starting line up over 30. Klich, Dallas (31 today), Forshaw, Rodrigo, Ayling and Cooper. Surely we'll need at least 4 signatures in the Summer unless some of the youngsters can step up.

    A lone voice but Firpo back is a bonus and gives us Dallas for midfield and bench Klich.

    im with Ges and the disappointment of last summer, and this summer will probably see some big changes. I see Rodrigo as being intrinsic to the way we will be playing under Marsch, so unless he ants to leave, he should be kept. I see Ayling, Dallas and Cooper as being retained even if only for the bench. I wouldn't moan if Klich and Forshaw were sold and replaced with a DM and AM

    I can feel a positive run of results coming. I think we will survive easily and give Chelsea a really good go. Only takes some decent results like we have just had coupled with a break from training to lighten the mood in the squad. Big game for the u23s coming up friday night v man city at Elland rd. This is where they should be showcasing their talents. Squad places are up for grabs for next season for the first team.

    Our first XI are old, but our squad is very young, and not much in-between. Apart from Gelhardt, I can't see any of the others being in the starting line when the new season kicks off, though over the space of the season, players like Summerville, Hjelde, Cresswell and Greenwood could make bigger contributions to the first team from the bench.
    If Leeds replace the like likes of Ayling, Klich, Cooper, Firpo, Roberts, Forshaw etc, we need to move the old guard on, or they will end up clogging up the bench, giving the youngsters even less opportunity to break through.

    What did it, I was chatting to my mate who is a Fulham supporter, he said this season has been one of his most enjoyable in a long time.

    I hope we never drop a division again but basically we’re all going to be celebrating what this season? Not getting relegated…

    That’s what the PL is all about unless you have billionaire owners, just making up the numbers celebrating a 9th is better than 14th due to the extra prize money

    There will be a few fans believing we can make a top 10 or top 6 but next season will be all about not getting relegated again.

    Sorry if you feel that’s depressing but it’s the truth, we’ll all get on the merry go round building up hope then settling for “as long as we don’t get relegated”

    Sorry Rich but it really pisses me off fans who enjoy doing well in a lower division.

    That's just my opinion of course as it's each to their own.

    Given the abysmal season we’re having, compared to last season, if we avoid relegation we will quite rightly celebrate. But that doesn’t mean every season will be like that. Staying in the PL is essential to improving the mainly Championship squad over a longer term of maybe five seasons, instead of just the two we’ve been in it.

    If consolidation means we’ll be a Wolves, Villa or Palace for a few years so be it. We can hopefully push on at that point.

    Relegation takes us back to square one for god knows how many years.

    I’d rather have PL mediocrity for a few seasons than once again become a big fish in the Championship pond.

    I’m not saying I want us to go down, far from it, but it’s just a bit sad that it feels like this is our lot, just being a number who causes the odd problem to the top 6. You make very good points though, I guess I just want that billionaire owner

    Not long ago we were facing Leicester in the Championship. Leicester did the business in the right way by not using their owners billions to buy their way into Europe, they used their scouts and coaching teams to end up winning the premier league.

    Leeds have said they like the Leicester model and think it makes sense. Leeds will attempt to do it, but jeez the gripes, moans and wrist slashing from some on here is a joke. We all know we have little cash compared to some in this league and we have been up against it all season but we will survive we will also change the squad this summer. Why not wait and gripe at the end of pre season if we havent done some serious biz in the transfer market

    6,7,8,9
    10,11,12,13
    14,15,16,17
    18,19,20

    Not long ago we had 3 leagues in the premier league but that over the last 2 seasons has been smashed into smaller groups. Money money money is at the heart of the prem and we are in the bottom tier of the money league, yet survive by punching above our weight
